Sign the Petition calling for improved rail services at Styal
Dear Northern Rail and Department for Transport,
Styal Station serves the village of Styal, National Trust Styal Estate and HMP Styal.
The current schedule of rail services effectively precludes use of the station.
We ask that you consider the following:
- Restoration of a direct morning peak service to Manchester in 2008 to permit commuting.
- Provision of a 4pm service in 2008 to serve Alderley Edge and Wilmslow High School children living in Styal.
- Restoration of some daytime (including Sunday) services for Summer 2009 to serve residents, National Trust Estate visitors and HMP Styal.
