We Need You!

Help Us Secure Improved Rail Services

Why Do We Need more Rail Services?

Styal has seen its rail service decrease from a half-hourly frequency in the mid-1990's to a skeletal 1-2 trains each way today.

Traffic in Styal, on the B5166 Styal Road/Hollin Lane, gets busier but public transport is limited to an hourly bus to/from Manchester Airport/Wilmslow (No.200).

The railway station has a major tourist attraction (Styal Country Park/Quarry Bank Mill) on its doorstep plus one of the UK's largest female prisons.

How can we get services increased?
